This Privacy Policy explains how Volanote ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you use our application ("the App"). Volanote is designed with privacy at its core — your notes are yours and yours alone.

2.1. Personal Information:
The App does not collect or transmit any personal information from your device. We have no servers, no analytics, and no tracking.
2.2. Note Data:
Your notes are stored locally on your device and synced to your personal iCloud account via Apple's CloudKit framework. Note data only contains note text, creation dates, and review tracking metadata. This data is not accessible by us.
2.3. User-Generated Content:
All notes and content you create remain on your device and in your personal iCloud account. We cannot read, access, or retrieve your notes.
3. Data Storage and Security
All data is stored locally on your device and optionally synced via iCloud using Apple's encryption. Your notes, review history, and preferences are protected by Apple's security infrastructure. Archived notes are automatically deleted after 30 days as part of the app's auto-cleanup feature.
4. Third-Party Services
4.1. Apple CloudKit:
We use Apple's CloudKit framework to sync your notes across your devices via iCloud. Your data is stored in your personal iCloud account and is encrypted by Apple. Please refer to Apple's Privacy Policy for information on how they handle iCloud data.
4.2. Apple StoreKit:
We use Apple's StoreKit to process the one-time purchase of the app. Please refer to Apple's Privacy Policy for information on how they handle purchase data.
5. Permissions Used
5.1. Siri:
With your permission, the App integrates with Siri to allow voice-based note creation. Siri processing is handled by Apple and is subject to Apple's Privacy Policy.
5.2. Notifications:
With your permission, the App sends local notifications for daily summaries and weekly review reminders. These notifications are generated entirely on your device and no data is sent externally.
6. Children's Privacy
The App does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.
