Privacy Policy for Handful
Last Updated: March 15, 2026
1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how Handful ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you use our application ("the App"). Handful is designed with privacy at its core — your tasks, reflections, and data stay on your device.
2. Information Collection and Use
2.1. Personal Information:
The App does not collect or transmit any personal information from your device. We have no servers, no analytics, and no tracking.
2.2. Task Data:
Your tasks, reflections, to-don't items, and settings are stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework with an App Group container (shared with widgets). This data is not synced to any cloud service and is not accessible by us.
2.3. User-Generated Content:
All tasks, reflections, daily wins, to-don't items, and parking lot entries you create remain entirely on your device. We cannot read, access, or retrieve your data.
3. Data Storage and Security
All data is stored locally on your device using SwiftData. Your tasks, reflections, and preferences are protected by your device's built-in security. The app performs automatic cleanup: abandoned tasks in the Parking Lot older than 30 days and completed tasks older than 90 days are automatically removed.
4. Third-Party Services
4.1. Apple StoreKit:
We use Apple's StoreKit to process the one-time purchase of the app. Please refer to Apple's Privacy Policy for information on how they handle purchase data.
5. Permissions Used
5.1. Notifications:
With your permission, the App sends local notifications for evening reflection reminders. These notifications are generated entirely on your device and no data is sent externally.
6. Children's Privacy
The App does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.
7. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
